Thought so. Camping in May is for outdoor fanatics, or unfortunate souls with no home. :43:
What would you rather be, or a wasp?

Nah - a bit further north. He's from Wisconsin.   :187:

Not sure about the round - think your memory might be a bit hazy.  :007:

For those of you who are camping @ Moffat and not sure yet about your Saturday and or Sunday breakfast arrangements   :006:

FYI - The Geen Frog Centre has a cafe, which is open from 08:00 to 17:00.  :1:

It is located ~50m across a field / track from the southern tip of the camping area Map HERE

Richard  :001:
Went to the GreenFrog over the w/e to finalise a few things.

In addition, negotiated a good discount for a cooked Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday for those who want one  :1:
Just mention you are with the Versys Motorcycle Group:028:

This is on top of the normal discount they do for the campers.  :152:

I just received an email from the Moffat site

Hi Mr Davis

Just a quick message to make you aware we are having some work done on the toilet block next week. It will affect the gents half of the block and we will only have 2 toilets available for gentlemen to use, however we are having a portable shower unit delivered to site so you will still be able to shower.

I hope this doesn't cause you too much inconvenience, please feel free to call the site if you want to discuss further.

Regards

So ...

Gale force winds.  Rain, sleet and snow.  Temperatures dropping (well) below freezing.  Two toilets and one portable shower.

Camping is looking more and more attractive by the minute!
Ride as if your life depended on it.
