Ummm Richard - sorry to shatter your illusions about this old dog knowing any tricks never mind new ones but......

I joined MyRouteApp when it came out as a Basic member- cos it's free just like Tyre - and I can see your route both on my iPad and on my PC.  But I can't export the route on to my Garmin without agreeing to upgrade to Gold Member which costs money - and as a poor old pensioner I try not to spend on other than essentials - beer and petrol though not in the same glass.  So - please can you make an old man happy by telling me how I can export the route from MyRouteApp to my Garmin?

Otherwise I'll be like Clunky and use the Tyre version you have kindly provided.

    Tah muchly

    Tony

Im a Basic member as well so all I do in myrouteapp on a PC is click "save as"  and save the route as any type of GPS file format. IE either .gpx (1.1) or .trf
Then I open this in TYRE and then load into your Garmin

I have exported it as a GPX file to Garmin but it will not recalculate to show a proper route within Garmin - the recalculate facility appears to be disabled from the file downloaded.

I don't use TYRE but I might have to in order to get this to work.

I really don't think they will, there are far too many bends, hills and stunning views to look at    :001:
