Happy Memories of a Moondust Grey '09 Versys Tourer.
If you ever start taking life too seriously, remember you are a talking ape orbiting the galaxy at 446,400 MPH on a deteriorating organic spaceship.

I had my 1st trip to the island in 1970 there 6 riders killed that year @ although I went back in 1975 for the 6 day ISDE I just couldn't go back for the TT as I found it too upsetting.

Similar case with me.   My last visit was in 1989 when Steve Henshaw and Phil Mellor were killed.   I had a fantastic holiday, and loved the racing, but left the island sickened to the core by the loss of 2 great riders.

It is sad but they're doing what they love to do, they know the risks.  I don't mean to seem callous it's just the way it is, I have lost friends through the racing over here. :003:

Rather miffed that I have to work today and can't be out watching the big race this afternoon, I've seen a few nice V's over here through the last couple weeks both old and new just not been in the position to say hi to any of the riders.

At least Guy Martin will not get injured again this year as Honda have pulled out of the Senior.

Never seen him looking shook up like that before...

He was not a happy boy.
That's the type of thing that puts you off a bike, especially as Mcguinness had been thrown off a short time before.
