Pull yer pants up man. It's a draughty time of year  :2:.

KITCHEN ffs  :5: Have you never learned to fry eggs on a manifold?  :211:

Hope the job change works in your favour.

It's a tightening of the belt in anticipation of an imminent job change, unfortunately, together with a new kitchen (I dare you to ask how much that's cost... :25: ) that have left me with too much exposure right now.
What method are you using for running your new hitchen in.   :027:

I've been putting in a lot of effort over the last few years to work my way DOWN the salary ladder. I'm getting rather good at it too, so I don't think the belt tightening will be temporary either....

If he has any sense he will be using the wife to do it whilst giving gentle, but welcome, guidance from the sidelines.
I am sure he will be thanked!

I suggest giving her a mild dose of food poisoning. This will ensure you are never asked to cook again.

Routes there from the North, North-North and closer to Norway than Westminster :

For most North of the Mersey and especially on the West coast the M6/ A6 is the quickest to the Manchester area, most if not all peeps with any sense will then take either the A49, or A483 along either side (and in and out) of the Welsh border.

Anyone planning taking the M6 from north of Brum (for whatever reason) will need to get to the M5 interchange before lunchtime latest, Friday afternoon is a mare, also you need to look out for 50mph average speed Smart Motorway roadworks J19-J16 and variable speed limit Smart Motorway section around J10 (both rear facing, bike catching speed enforcement cameras)  :016:
