The coverage on the Red Bull channel is a load of cobblers, 2 minutes of action then the rest is interviews or footage of Flamingos and Alpacas  :180: When will they realise that we just want footage of the action, cars, bikes, trucks and quads, is there anywhere on-line where you can watch  good quality (not smart phone) footage ? I have paid for Eurosport coverage in the past but that's crap as well with minimal action  :125:
FS1E, RS100DX, GP125, MTX200, GSX550EF, CB750, TDM850, PEGASO 650, XT500, RD250B, DRZ400, VERSYS 650, W800

Good call Boggs  :152: Lyndon seems like a great character and the footage gives a real insight into the Dakar as well as plenty of action. Not sure where he gets all the energy from to be so enthusiastic at the end of the day  :020:

I've been watching on Eurosport.
Pretty much same as usual.
I get the impression that this year is a particularly hard course through the sand. Harder than I remember from quite a few years, the number of top names crashing out and retiring is significant. Frequently with video coverage of the crash.
No significant mud or wet yet.
Ted.

:008: Cheers Whiskeydave you are right, as you know I am already a miserable chap so I should resist the opportunity to slide deeper into the mire.
