First look at my versys
« on: Jan 20, 2018, 06:41 PM »
Went to CMC in Cannock today to sort the delivery of my Versys, it was in the workshop having a centre stand fitted and a top box.

They are going to deliver it next Saturday as my garage needs sorting out I can't get my head round how much junk is stashed in it.
Bonus was finding cassette's CDs and various other obsolete things from last century lol.

A few days running to the local tip and filling the skip up at work will sort it out though.

I stopped at Go Outdoors in Stoke on the way home and bought an inflatable mattress and a foot pump a tent is next on the list to go with the rest of my gear that's piled on the dining room table.
Easter Bank Holiday is the first trip and all need to do is pass my mod 2 in Feb and I'm good to go.

Alright people to be fair flying v and good customer service .
First lesson for my mod 2 is the 3rd of Feb, I'm hoping for a test date end of Feb.

It's been a bit of a drag doing the CBT haz theory, mod 1 but I have learnt that a refresher on the highway code hasn't done me no harm.

Cheers for the enthusiasm Jim, Boggs and Craigasaki I am really looking forward to getting away on this versys it's been hard financially and I've been saving for a while for this summer's trips.

I'll post some photos of the bike when it turns up on Sat, I'm off down my shed Sat afternoon I'll take some photos of that as well and show you my other hobby it involves sleeping in a leather recliner that was bought of eBay for a fiver in front of my log burner that's was made out of an old gas bottle that's in a shed that was constructed out of materials that were begged borrowed and appropriated  :028:

As requested tower man

It's a dangerous thing this talking with a mate we decided to build a shed and base it on a caravan chassis so a quick look on eBay and a drive to Dewsbury 68 changed hands a light board screwed onto the bed and back home to Cheshire.

The chassis is an elko galvanized so won't rot.

It was designed on a bit of scrap cardboard so it's not a professional build by any stretch of imagination but it turned out ok.

Gas bottle turned into a great log burner.

I've got to nip out for a couple of hours but I'll post more if anyone is interested.
