Isle of Man. Are the ferries sensibly priced outside of TT dates?

The only time I've ever found the Lake District traffic-free was during the foot and mouth. We had the place to ourselves. Pure Magic.

Start again.
1. Peak District.
2. Wales

Whilst I would never say no the North Yorshire, and without prejudice to any future commitment to organising, I was thinking that the following areas have some great biking roads and might not be as busy as Cornwall/South Wales.

Lincolnshire Wolds - not the prettiest part of the world but some cracking roads from Lincoln to the coast
Scottish Borders (the other side) - Kielder Forest, Bamburgh, Wooler and Melrose all have some incredible scenery
Northern Ireland - come on, who wouldn't want to follow the NW200 route? plus we could pick up some Bushmills!!!
Hadrians Wall - having walked it I reckon there's a cracking route to be had around the arse end of the Empire

Just random thoughts

It can go to the committee on Saturday, but at the moment I think Dicky and the Gspot have the lead!

Besides, if Dicky is the committee, because someone apparently died and made him [censored]ing committee king, I know where he will decide :008:

Ted.

I can't make the committee meeting I'm afraid, I've had a beer so I can't ride the bike in to Ross.
IF no decision is made, I am prepared to volunteer to run a carbon copy of my North Wales Versys do, but only as far as leading the route goes not including any organising and accommodation booking which I did before and which was so stressful (and worrying when Shaun did his crashing trick.)
It will be the identical route as I do not know a better one and most seemed to enjoy it. Cannot guarantee to produce the same weather though.
Ted.

We are going to Yorkshire Dales / North Pennines AONB. Geoff is sorting the route with technical support from me. The town we will all congregate is is still to be decided but could be WD back garden or Richmond 🤔
