Mmmmm, not sure that " amateur level" is fitting. :008:    4 visits to A and E to have catheters fitted  :004:  The first 3 all getting blocked by blood clots :019:

My radiation Proctitis in my bowel , pi--ing untold pints of blood out of my ar--.

A camera up my kno- to see what was happening in there, another camera up my ar-- to see  why I was bleeding to death from within.

I collapsed in A and E , because my blood pressure had fell through the floor.

An M.R.I  scan to see if my prostate cancer had anything to do with my woes. ( fortunately it hasn't).

Dozens of blood tests. My arms have turned into yellow bruised pin cushions.

8 days parked in a hospital bed, praying that someone would come along and fix me.

All routine stuff really.  :008: :138:

But hey, what doesn't kill you does actually make you stronger.   So come on life, throw some of the good stuff at me.  :152: :2:

Chuff me! Hope everything settles down  :22:
I want to retire, no longer required,
I want to get by without the man on my back.

As the last time I was up that way was 2012, I was the photographer, sat at Tan hill and got soaked waiting for 127 bikes to pass, so my benchmark isn't set too high...... :008:

As Einstien said "it's all relative", but seriously, glad to see you're on the mend  :028:

We've had a few past couple of years here and on the Tiger 800 site, Ted having his head drilled, me smashing my leg up and a couple who weren't so lucky, every hospital discharge note is a win  :016:
Just passin' through

OK you folks who are staying in or around Hawes on NVM Saturday eve.  What time do/can you have breakfast on Saturday, in other words, what time can we leave, and get the show on the road .    Suggestions please.  :2:
What would you rather be, or a wasp?

Pinch plenty of bread from the breakfast table so you can leave us a nice trail of breadcrumbs to follow!

yep, you need to set a firm start time, when I organised the Whitby/Yorks NVM, I said meet 9.30am, definite start 10am, otherwise it all gets out of hand....just getting 35 bikes out the car park together is a feat in itself.... :015:
