100milesaway, when looking into the local Pubs you might want to check The Fountain as I saw a rumour somewhere that the Landlady is not keen on "Bikers". This could be utter boll**ks and I am sure Clunkyboy   :31: will be able to tip the balance one way or the other as he is stopping there.

Well I thought those days were long gone especially now that finding a motorcyclist under 40 is difficult.
As I understand it a publican can refuse to serve anyone without giving a reason in these more pc times it is vital NOT to give a reason.
I recall a conservative club In  Wolverhampton that would not serve certain people from the commonwealth, radio WM were outraged and went in all guns blazing the club denied any such policy pointing out there was a member who resided in Australia and was always made welcome when he was in the U.K..
Back in the day we were asked to leave the Wye knot at symonds yat we did as instructed after a display of KH / LC and X7 drag starts....  microns definitely louder then allspeeds!
I'm going out on my bike.

Quoted from trip advisor :-
Lunch was fantastic and a proper Yorkshire serving ! The hotel is nice enough but I couldn't help but wonder why, with such great food it was so quiet, until the lady behind the bar gave me her view on bikers .... She hates them !! With a passion, what she didn't realise is that when us bikers are out without our bikes we like to eat and we bring our loved ones with us.
Needless to say this is one biker that won't be going back and spending my hard earned money

Clunkboy, your mission should you choose to accept it.........

When I did the route for the afternoon session of the NVM, I added the running mileage at each turn.   However, when I did the morning route I didn't add the running mileage total, so for those that require more detail for the morning section here is some more information.

We leave Hawes via the B6255.  From the departure point of The Dales Countryside museum ( which is located behind the Rope makers factory), to the first major turn at Ribblehead viaduct is 10.6 miles, it will be 22.3 total  to Settle. At 32.2 miles we turn left at junction to Kirkby Malham. From there to Arncliffe will be 37.5 miles. At 40.8 miles we go left to Kettlewell - Buckden. At 55.8 miles in West Burton we go left to Aysgarth, at 57 miles we turn to Aysgarth falls. After leaving the falls, we travel through, Carperby- Wensley, and arrive in Leyburn on 66 miles. I suspect the lunch break will be 1 hour . Before we embark on the afternoon route.   I hope the above information helps , whether you are using sat nav, or written instructions.   Geoff.

Top Bannana Geoff.
Whatever you decide is what will absolutely put a smile on our faces. It's a bit of pressure planning a route for nearly Fourty numpties. You decide we follow and  there are no complaints. Yea might loose a few but being an island they will come to water eventually.
Thanks for sorting this so far. Pint on WD, the one he owes me from last year LOL
