Tomtom power supply
« on: Nov 07, 2018, 04:32 PM »
Apologies up front for being lazy but would anyone know if there are any convenient power supply points in the front of the bike for a Tomtom Rider 410. My bike is a 2016 650 GT with heated grips, driving lights, gear indicator and an accessory socket which I assume have taken up any surplus power points. I currently have the TT wired directly to the battery (fused) which is quite convenient being unswitched but the thin wires/terminals dont look too robust or very tidy especially as the OEM lead only just reaches.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Cheers JB

i took a feed off the horn, easy to reach, get a piggyback connector and its easy, take earth wire to any frame bolt , its switched, and adding sat nav only won't overload the horn circuit/fuse
