I've enjoyed Airhawks on a couple of prior bikes, but at 5'9" it would be a quite a stretch on the Versys, so I've been using a sheepskin butt pad instead.

I have one of these which I occasionally use on a long trip, you can shuffle the filling about to change the shape and hence pressure points.

I've a gel pad one somewhere, have to dig it out, but if you want it you'd have to collect from Selhurst (on provision I can find it of course).

 I'm not that flat a**ed  :008: .

 Beads are good in the heat as they allow air circulation, and in the wet as they reduce puddling, but they don't increase height by much.
