Aftermarket exhaust question..

Hey guys,

So I recently fit the full Delkevic exhaust system with downpipes and just have a quick question.

When I initially start the bike up there's a small bubble noise that I can hear kind of more like a gurgle not like a bubble gun, but once the bike has more less warmed up it goes but then when I pop the bike in neutral and pull back on the throttle when the rev drops there's a very small bubble noise that I can hear.

Is there anything to worry about? Maybe it's worth me having a look at the clamps and make sure everything is all sealed over the small holes where pipes meet. Or is this normal for after market exhausts?

Still making a small bubble noise 

Anyone got any advice? i may have a little look tomorrow and undo the exhaust/downpipes and have a jiggle.

As long as its normal, I'll deal with it.. For now. Until I venture to a 4 cylinder

popping, crackling and a low rev burble is a common symptom of a less restrictive to airflow aftermarket exhaust, the increased airflow tends to make the low revs run lean, if you want to you can have the bottom end retuned to enrich the mix, without affecting the rest of the range, needs to be done on a dyno for best results.

As Towerman, it's quite pleasing in a way and certainly nothing to worry about, I had it with my Versys(s) and ran a Tiger 800 for at least 30,000 miles with the same snap, crackle and pop

i miss the crackle pop and bangs from my old XJR, that thing was like a machine gun going off. ( older carbs, 4-1 200mm big bore can )

As already said, you'll get a bit of a pop every now and again with an after market exhaust. Some bikes do it more, some do it less. You'll find because the fueling is cut on throttle close, you'll just get a small pop. Some bikes that are remapped or different fueling will throw fuel in on closed throttle.
