Motor museum?
« on: Jan 31, 2019, 09:18 PM »
Just watching TV and spotted a motor museum program is salvage hunters on quest.
I saw a R90s and a yellow 400/4 in amongst the cars looked a place I might enjoy, on my nom weekend,   I have found a plus 1 channel and hoping to get a name / location.
Anyone know the place?
I'm going out on my bike.

Went that museum last summer while I was touring the lakes, totally enjoyed it, quite a few classic bikes in the back half of the place. Well worth a visit.  :152:

Other highlights....
A few years back I was based in Alston for a family holiday.  We took a trip to killhope lead mine now i have worked in some tough environments mines / foundries and rail but those places are a walk in the park compared to killhope.  You could not have a more apt name. The miners were allocated so many yards of ROCK to dig find lead ore get paid no ore no pay.
In all this they found time to make the most fantastic crystal boxes.
Well worth a visit.
