Shandy, I'm based in Stroud but will be making my way up avoiding motorways too. If you fancy meeting up somewhere central (or you could divert to here) I'd be happy to ride up with you. Routes, times etc can be confirmed closer to the time but there's an open invitation for you.

 :028:

Iím in!

Perhaps we could arrange a meeting point with a couple of stops where we can pick up others on the way.

Like you said, routes and details sorted at a later date but Iím in , thanks!

You know Iím not paying for the trip... lol.

I spoke with my landlord already about it and he has said if he gets it up and running then we can use it. (I didnít know it was used as a storage place for the time being). But failing that I have many places that can cater to a large group if needed at short notice. 2 cottages that can hold 24 people each not far away.
Camping is easy (and free) with access to showers and toilets for those that want to go down that route.

Still shopping about to see about ferry ticket prices. Waiting to hear about a group discount ticket price from stenaline and p&o.

Jay,

Are you able to get any discount on the Holyhead to Dublin line?
I live in North Wales and that would be the easiest way for me.

Not sure. Never done that line before.
Will know more when I know what ferry everyone is looking to take. For example if 10 are taking cairnryan to belfast and 10 Holyhead to Dublin then I can find out more.

Yep also checking with them. But can sometimes pay off to go direct to companies too.

Probably staying up Coleraine area and then doing the coast road in the morning.
Then mountain roads in afternoon.

Havenít really got a plan as yet but chatting to a few other bike groups to see whatís best. Meeting some on Sunday and will know more then.
