Relay connection question
« on: Sep 12, 2019, 12:38 AM »
I've got a 6 way fused distribution box to fit under the seat.  At the moment it's hooked up to the battery direct (with 30A fuse).

However I'm wanting to use a relay for ignition live.

Under the left side of the seat next to the first storage compartment, I've seen a wire which is ignition live just hanging coming  from a 4 pin socket, with blank plug inserted..  This only seems to be 5v so not enough for the relay.
seen here just above the frame where the red bag is.

Any suggestions? or should I just splice the tail light wire?

Richard is a proper livewire, and very connected.   He has made a lifestyle for himself by being switched on.
