No...Not the VanVan  :5: Get rid of the Beemer instead, you know it makes sense. Starting to think you are just a bike tart. Seriously though they are both great bikes, if the condition of your XSR was anything to go by the VanVan will be top notch condition. GLWS and let us know how you get on. Regards, Martin

Thanks Martin hope your well, had vanvan for 3 years now and a great piece of Japanese engineering it is.
Shortly before the 2 part test came in in the early eighties I grabbed one of the last motorcycle tests with the man with clipboard....  "pull away and take every left turn ect ) i didn't have a pot to piss back then and my bike was Honda c50 to which I had fitted a 70 head/barrel & piston.
The c50/70/90 models were never mopeds and always classed as motorcycles so you could pass your test on one and then buy a z9 or 350 Elsie!
Hence my soft spot for the cub the new model is pretty amazing looks just like original but with abs /led lights/ keyless ignition and a 125 engine.
I'm going out on my bike.

I sat on new 125 Honda Super Cub. Rear shock bottoms out easily under my 100kg. Despite liking it a lot, I decided not to buy one.

Yes I can imagine that problem and with me weighing in at 107kg it would be a thing to watch. But of course it was always part of the fun crazy front suspension too. And the cub was family transportation in many parts of the world.
