Aye, take your point,  i've ordered mushrooms and string kit but i'll be testing the Sugru repair tomorrow just because i think i should   :124:

Update, 734 miles in and the Sugru is still doing the job, not lost a puff of pressure.

Bounced it around Strines and Ladybower / Snake Pass today, got very wet but it's now giving me confidence (  :015: ) , i've been a bit ginger up to now.
