Sorry to disappoint but I see no point trying to rationalise with an apparently irrational individual.  Enjoy your popcorn anyway...

Damn... I was hoping for at least 6 or 7 pages for this thread.

C'mon Rictus - Give more ammo for a decent reply...

My 35 year old mountfeild mower has a loud exhaust, saves me from pidgeon attacks and pisses the neighbours off at the same time. Now one neighbour I am happy to annoy but he don't care, the other waits until precisly the moment I sit down with a cold beer late Sunday afternoon to do his lawn, feckin pensioners. Even though its electric and quiet it still saves him from pigeon attacks  and pisses off the neighbour.
Neither have passed  qualifications  to drive said lawn mowers but we manage to survive somehow

More of toffees person than popcorn

Yes, it was...perhaps he will bump into a serving one at some point  :015:

Strange how having passed an examination of your riding qualifies you to make statements beyond your area of expertise and elevates you to a position where the laws of the land no longer apply to you.

Ah, well,  ya see, I only have a mere full license and nowt else but me spider senses, but to be fair i do think they and they alone elevate me to the very wilkinson sword edge of my expertise and occasionally beyond , the laws of the land just kinda get bent a bit here and there , thats what they are there for , right???

FFS clunky just a letter A on your licence I'm amazed your still alive!
Me....  admittedly most of my experience is on video game platforms but I have completed road rash on Sega megadrive and need for speed on PlayStation plus a couple of levels on gta on pizza delivery scooter.
And I have badge and certificate too prove I completed the rac/ acu training scheme when I was just 16 I rode the schemes Batavus go go (purple).
With this skill set I think there would be little point in me bring followed for a few miles by some chap on Beemer in a high-viz.
I'm going out on my bike.
