As an FIY, painting the whole bike let's say to glossy black, which is a less pretentious colour, will cost me just double the amount it will cost me to just repair and paint that right fairing to candy burnt orange.

Never thought about wrapping the fairings though, not sure how it will look with the tank and front fender still being candy burnt orange. Still, this would be the cheapest way to go.

I do intend to keep the bike, because I love it and never caused me any issues aside from the ones I caused myself, but I am also trying to think ahead. If I eventually decide to sell it to get a newer Versys, I would like to sell it in great condition.

From 2007 and until now, it surely picked some small scratches here and there, might just go all in and repaint it. My heart wants the Kawasaki green colour scheme, but my wallet says I should go for the glossy black.
