« on: Mar 26, 2020, 07:25 PM »
2019 model
handbook says power for my accessory socket is behind headlight, and that its blk/white and blue and white (pos)...... not so on mine i have blk/wht and red/wht but neither are live, ign on or off, doen't seem to be a particular fuse for accessories power, anyone else had this before i download service manual

The fuse is in a group of three under the seat iirc. 5A i think, a separate block to the main fuses but directly adjacent

According to my manual, on page 73, the blue/white and black/yellow is for the gear indicator, the red/white and black/white for accessory.

3.3A max apparently, and 5A fuse is right. (I replaced mine early on after an experiment with a tyre inflator drew more than 5A...)

I can't remember exactly, but I think there's a fuse box which houses something like 3 fuses separately to the main, although I think there was a spare fuse in there too, but it's under the seat and should be clear when you get in there.

Did it stop working or are you trying to use it first time? The bike comes without the relay that switches the aux power on, you will have to add the relay if we are talking about the same thing.

its 1st time i have tried to use it,
afaik i thought the relay was only needed for the aux supply behind the L/H side fairing for DRL's etc, and the accessory supply behind the headlight was live just with ignition on, so it seems you may be right, but 78 Bravo's experience seems to say otherwise,,,,,,, :187:

i have a 4 pin relay so i'll experiment tomorrow and check fuses

seems odd that they don't mention the relay in the owners manual....

See the wiring diagram on page 16-16 of the service manual for the Mk3 HERE   :7:

Accessory Relay switched power feed "W/BL" goes to a connector block, where it changes (for the Aux socket only) to W/R  :031:
