Reflective helmet
« on: May 25, 2020, 11:04 PM »
So I had a bit of reflective tape and some time on my hands.....
And got to thinking about sticking some on my lid to boost my visibility at night..
And then how its probably people coming from behind that might not see you, maybe turning right or stopped at a traffic light, your lights lost among the others, and what would make them notice you and brake quickest?
I thought: colour, especially red, mixed colours.... blue
Faces!
We are all programmed to pick out faces from  random patterns, like people who see Jesus in a bit of toast and all that, it comes from our days when we were either hunting or hunted.
And then I saw a Tiki mask and this is what I came up with.

Sometimes it takes a winding road to get your head straight.

Looks like something from a horror movie that needs to be killed so don't go out with that on,
something cute might do the job or maybe a big neon sign saying please don't hit me.

I think it's great.  Most drivers will hit the brakes hard just as they see that, keeping well away from you...   :008:
