Removing rear shock for lowering kit

Hi,
In the process of installing the Lust Racing lowering kit.
I got the bike jacked up so the rear wheel is free but the shock pin is still really tight. What do I need to do to get that loose enough to come out freely?
I've loosened off the preload all the way so spring is as relaxed as it will go.
Any ideas anyone?

NM - finally found the sweet spot!

If you have a blow torch you could heat up the bolt then wait till it's cold again and that should work but be careful.

Stick a bit of grease on when refitting as they do tend to rust, same with wheel spindles ,engine mount bolts etc.

ratchet strap over the seat and through the wheel is a good way to support the load. it's a big help when taking the wheel off too. Like an extra hand but no need to buy beer or biscuits!!

  +1 to a smear of grease on suspension bolts and axles.
