Luggage rack ID please
« on: Jul 03, 2020, 12:49 PM »
Does anyone know what brand etc that this (Monokey) luggage rack is? Looks like the grab rails are integral. Also Can a (any) top box mount be used in conjunction? and which gen it fits?

cheers

To partially answer my own question (the seller replied), its from a MK2 so no good for me, but it could be quite cheap if anyones looking for some, over on you know where.

Yes it is an OEM Kawasaki (made by Givi) for the V35 bags and it will fit on any Mk2 V650.

The V650 Mk1 & Mk2 was designed by Kawasaki to be officially fitted with Side Bags OR a Top Box only, so there was no OEM frames that fitted both together.

However, both Givi and SW Motech, both produced rear topbox racks, to be fitted to bikes with OEM luggage/side carriers
and also luggage/Side Carriers to be fitter to bikes with OEM approved rear topbox rack.

As clear as Mud  :033:

That's an OEM Kawasaki rack made by SW Motech for a Mk1 2007 to 2009 Versys.
