A little blood, a lot of sweat, but no tears, as I successfully fitted myself a Bridgestone A41 rear tyre yesterday 👍

Now to scrub it in 😎

Nice job. I use the cable tie method, it's not completely effort free but way more manageable than tyre irons.

That's a purdy looking tread Richard.

I'm heading towards swapping out my tired old BT23 rear. I'd be very interested to hear how you get on with the A41.

J

I had a set of A41's on the V1k last year when I went to Northern Spain.
They were great however the rear did not last much more than 4300 miles as the V1k really needs a GT or HWM tyre on the back.

I also had a T30 EVO on the V650 before this and it feels very much the same if not better, as I believe the A41 is based on the new T31 carcus but with a chunkier 90/10 tread pattern 🤔

Nice job. Bridgestones are my go-to tyre.

Is it difficult to balance the wheel properly? I think that would put me off the most when it comes to changing my own tyre.
