Anyone got my old Mk 1 Orange GT?
« on: Jul 14, 2020, 07:20 PM »
Hi all.
I had rather a unique Mk 1 versys and I'm wondering if it's still around.
It was an 08 orange GT but there was a cock up at the dealers, very long story but they ended up changing the tank and panels from a standard orange on to a triple black GT so I probably had the only one with a black swing arm.
It also had a mara vario screen, dropped pegs and bark busters.
I would love to know if its still on the road.

You can check on the Gov.uk  website if you have the reg No. See if its got MOT & tax.

Hi. Since the V I had the 1200 gs then a Triumph Explorer and I'm on a GS Adventure now.
Our days of bike touring are over now though so I'm thinking of getting shut of the GSA and going back to a Versys.

I don't remember the reg number.

Yay that's my baby, didn't realise she was an 09 though.
29k makes me sad though. I sold her in March 2012 with about 20k on the clock ans she has only done about 1200 miles a year since.
That's almost a crime.

Thanks Tower Man.
That photo takes me back too. It rained hard that day and I ended up going a few hundred yards through a flood with the exhaust fully submerged praying she didn't stall.
