The picture is definitely Buxton.. its the Buxton Crescent. However, as said this may merely be the lunch stop with the end point being somewhere else! Assuming this is the general area of the meet.

Yes it is, used to be called St Anne's Crescent after the well on the left in the picture, now just called " The Crescent", my dad used to manage the Victoria Wine shop just opposite in Spring Gardens (now Ponden Home Stores apparently)
The bad news is that I'm on holiday that weekend with nothing to do and completely unsupervised
Just passin' through

But ... is the campsite that you referred to in/near Buxton or Bakewell. Google search found one in Bakewell, but not in Buxton.

Unfortunately us mere mortals who took past in the last Zoom meeting when the committee was in action are also not privy to the procrastinations of King Richard, and his court jester, Stewie!

It is Bakewell. Apologies, what a tool.

In all fairness Stewie had his own ideas that we discussed and agreed during the call and then was overruled by the committee.

It might be Bath...nice one Stewie, an utterly unpredictable, metal switcheroo.

That one is still a viable and credible option if lockdown measures are extended south east of the Manchester area.

If the new lockdown measures announced today are not relaxed any time soon then we may still have to cancel 😟

Yeah!
:-(
Maybe ... if nothing else ... a group could meet up for a late morning-to-afternoon group ride!
Ride as if your life depended on it.
