Its the one thing that spoils the bike for me because mine is lowered to, I hate using a paddock stand I always think it's going to end in disaster. Be great if someone on the forum had fitted one to a lowered bike.

When I use my paddock stand I attach thin ropes to eye bolts on the sides of the garage so there is no chance of the bike falling over when I take the stand away

Good idea Jim, I've been thinking of changing the bike for one with a centre stand but I love the versys. Watched a youtube vid on fitting an SW Motech centre stand if I took my lowering kit off but looks a real faf, The lowering kit was put on by the previous owner. The Yamaha tracer 900 has a centre stand fitted as standard but it looks like a pissed up plumber designed everything around the engine.
