Sent my seat to CM Seats yesterday. I've asked him to lower the seat by an inch, make it narrower, and move the hump between rider and passenger back an inch to give more room on the riders portion of the seat. I'll post back with photo when it returns.

Got seat back today. Very happy. 5' 10" tall but only 29" inside leg. Can now get balls of both feet down at once, so that's good enough for me. Sat in seat so no more sliding into tank. Piping is a really good match to paintwork.

Used CMS myself on my SE. Very accommodating and happy to reduce, higher or alter to your own spec. Had gel insert installed and white piping with lattice black stitching. Turnaround in 5 days for 345 i believe.
Ride is far better than OEM seat as for me and taken quite a few over 200 mile journeys without loads of shifting on seat whilst riding.

I had gel pads for rider and pillion, seat lowered  by about an inch. Also riders seat narrowed a bit and the seat hump between rider and pillion moved back about an inch. 280 plus 15 return postage.

Ross is very professional and can accomodate most seat design requests. Rang him and he gave me various ideas of requirements and what was possible.

I did not have much complains about OEM seat, but I fitted Sargent anyway.  it is very nice and looks great on this particular bike.  they really make nice seats.
