Anybody recognise this top box plate?
« on: Nov 21, 2020, 02:19 PM »

I've looked through a load of Google images and can't find this plate anywhere to buy a that will fit.

Any ideas ?

Maybe I can change it to a givi plate but I would imagine that would mean a complete different rack as well?

I can't help with identifying the plate, but maybe you could attach a Givi plate on top of the existing plate rather than buying new arms.

That is indeed a Givi plate, or to be more precise, half of it. The top plate that the box slides into and locks onto is missing.

OK so if I buy a monokey plate that will fit onto what I have already?.

Seems like a bulky way of doing it but I like the givi stuff.

Thanks

It is actually the bottom part of the Kawasaki OEM KQR 47L Top Case Top Box Bracket Mount Base Plate

As per this link on ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Kawasaki-Versys-650-KQR-47L-Top-Case-Top-Box-Bracket-Mount-Base-Plate-/153385632206

Ooops, my bad, its only a third of it then  :goggle: In addition to what Towerman has posted you would i believe also need the  Givi E251 Universal Monokey Adaptor Plate, but you'd be best to confirm elsewhere. This would allow you to fit any Givi Monkey top box.

Good find thanks for that. Its probably unlikely I'll find the top plate on its own.

But looking at the universal monokey E251 I might buy one and see if I can get it to fit straight onto the half I do have.
