Riderscan mirror ?
« on: Dec 31, 2020, 03:12 PM »
Anyone used/considered one of these? basically a 180 degree mirror you attach directly in front of you, got given one for Christmas, it looks like the image is fairly distorted; but I guess it's something you should get used to, ant thoughts.
Mark.

I had one on my V650.  The previous owner had installed it.  I didn't find it particularly useful and didn't bother to replace it when I changed the screen.

Iíve just bought one 5 mins ago.
Iíll post an update when it arrives and I get it installed.
Been looking at them for a while now though. Feels like it should be useful for those blind spots.

£11.99 for the one I bought. So not a huge loss if itís for nothing.

I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I still have mine kicking around.  If I do, you can have it.  But I think that I just binned it.

Hi there, I too have been looking to see how I can minimise the blindspot vision on the bike. It will be interesting to see if these 180 wide angle mirrors are useful, because my fear is, because they attach on the front windscreen of the motorbike, will that not disturb your front looking view, through the front windscreen?

I donít actually look through the screen when riding. I look over it. Itís more for sending the wind over my head than anything else.
What do you do in the rain?
