2021 NVM Discussion...
« on: Jan 17, 2021, 08:39 PM »
What do we reckon guys?
Start planning this meet or still too early to say?

I am all for it being in N.Ireland if thatís still the idea, just cannot be in May as was previously stated by some. June/July are both great months for it.
But if the census has moved locations then Iím up for a road trip also.

Too early to start planning anything propperly for May /  June as they will not have finished vaxing everyone by then, but Dave (Oldplodder) has said he was hoping to organise something for North Wales poss based around the new Snowdonia360 in September

Nice choice Dave, I like the look of the Snowdonia 360 https://www.snowdonia360.com/ Some breathtaking routes round there and something to inspire everyone from Ancient Brythonic  :25: to Yummy Zymology. :031:
It would be my first nvm and it would be good to put faces to names, i think. Just nice to have something to get excited about.

The Snowdonia 360 looks good, I've done most of it at one time, or another, but not as a one/ two day thing.

Ireland also sounded good.

I'll be on the Tiger 800 "Megameet" in Germany 8-14th Sept (based in Frankfurt), but it would be good to catch up with peeps, if the NVM is on a different date.

Triumph and Trump are often confused ................. but generally only by idiots  :008: :008: :008:

We're an international forum and have members from all over (even Wales) who attend our meets, that's why they're Mega (not MAGA) and include a Texan and at least one German, who have attended our previous meets, the German guy "volunteered" to host this year's (put off from May, same as the NVM), so in the normal procedure he gets to say where we meet and sort the route(s) and since he lives in Frankfurt, that's where we're going, unlike some forums where an English refugee living in Scotland dictates events  :016: :008: :008:

Just because we have a committee of 1 (admittedly that 1 is a megalomaniac) does not make it any less valid as a committee.
