"I'm in regular contact with JAR (Canada)"

Good to know he's still active. He's just off  a preferred route to the west.

Last time I heard from him - several years ago now - he was spending more time pruning vines than riding but still had the Mk1.

Hi all,

Not really been visiting the forum much recently due to a few things, but mainly work.

Anyway, I've been chatting to Jay (NI Versys Owner) and we have been discussing a potential trip to Scotland and the NC500 for some time. But something called lockdown has been getting in the way!

To cut a long story short, on the phone with him earlier today and we agreed that, Scotland might have to wait until next year.
However, I'd heard about the new Welsh Snowdonia route and suggested that might be a good warm up for Scotland!

Jay mentioned that the NVM was being planned for Wales this year and September seemed like a sensible time to go! (Not really cutting the story that short, sorry).

Seeing that I've still not been able to get to an NVM yet (except on Zoom), I thought this would be a perfect time to get back on this forum and say that I'm in for the NVM 2021!

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to speaking with you all again.

I'll do another post somewhere else saying what I've been up to in the last 5 months or so.

Take care all.

Melfi, yes, fairly regularly, on FB, she's still out in Dubai, has her own financial and marketing training company.

Shaun, her orange Versys finally died last year, wasn't being ridden and had turned to a ball of rust  :034:
