Hi Curly and welcome to the forum I noticed one of your previous bikes was a vstrom 1000 I was wondering what mpg you got, I've been thinking about buying the new vstrom 1050 with the same engine and some of the reviews online are conflicting. Enjoy your new bike the versys are a brilliant bike.
Cheers

Hi Old Leathers. To be honest i've never bothered with MPG, i always go by how many miles i'll roughly get from a full tank. It all depends where you're riding too of course, motorways, towns etc. But i'd say the V-Strom 1000 was giving me no less than 200 miles with a little spare. Best i got was 240 in rural Spains constant long flowing A roads.

Brian,
I have 2020 V-Strom 1050XT with 2900 kms on the clock.
At the beginning, before the bike was run in, economy was 5 L/100km = 56.496 I mpg
Now I get 5.4 L/100km = 52.311 I mpg
I can't imagine going over 6 L/100km = 47.08 I mpg

Cheers
