Hi this is Pahone logging in from Finland
« on: Jan 27, 2021, 03:15 PM »
Hello everyone, I just joined the forum.

I bought a 2009 Versys 650 in late September 2020, had about a month of riding before the ice and snow came.. Now I'm anxiously waiting for the spring.

I had not owned or ridden a MC since early nineties and, now being in my early fifties, I thought I'm not going to.
But then we got a 50cc Aprilia SX for our daughter and I taught her to ride.. It kind of bit me and I just had to get me a bike.

So here I am. I joined the forum mostly for tech tips and questions I quite certainly will have once I get the Versys out to the road again :)

Welcome back to biking and welcome to the forum👍

Your bike looks really well😎 I'd say you have spent all winter looking forward to getting out on it!!

What is it like to ride a bike in Finland?? Do you get nice summers?? I'd imagine it is only possible to ride between April and September up there??
