Petrol cap
« on: Feb 20, 2021, 12:23 PM »
Been a miserable few days here in the garden county
So I decided to tackle the grubby looking petrol cap a bit of a sand and paint and also painted the screws black instead of the silver they were

Before and after

Yes, it's amazing what a splash of fresh paint will do.   :028:  It looks good.   You may like to do the bracket in the picture, which is probably the heated grips bracket.  After all we are still in lockdown.    :008:
What would you rather be, or a wasp?

Cheers

Yep the Heated grip Bracket piece of galvanized steel
I could do it in silver or black I think it would look good as it is starting to show some signs already
So close to the sea that the salt in the air makes short work of everything :-(

I bought a big enough can of satin black to do the rear foot peg hangars as they are also showing their age
