I can't believe what I've done
I spent every penny I had and a bit more on my new (to me) bike, and to save a few quid decided to have a go at an oil change myself - not knowing if it's been done before. Even though I barely know the right end of a spanner, I'm desperate to learn the basics.
Now I'm just desperate.
Chatting away to my neighbour as I removed the fairing, I went and undone the wrong bolt. I assume it's something to do with the gearbox side of things, but as soon as I realised what I've done, I knew the damage was done.
So, the offending bolt is this one ...
So, after starting the engine, selecting 1st gear, bike stalls. Some of you would have known that, and it's you that I'm praying can help me?
Can anyone tell me what I've done so that I can get along to a mechanic somewhere and explain to them?
No crunching / grinding sounds were heard, just the clunk of engine stalling. Maybe it's just serious and not terminal?
I've decided that oil changes / topping up coolant and changing brake pads are way too advanced for me, and I'm better of riding the damn thing to a garage every time.
Any help appreciated ...
