How can I get in touch with Speedy?
« on: Jun 17, 2021, 07:58 AM »
Hey peeps,

Long time! I now have a green 2014 called Jack as Sean got retired...  :012:

Anyway, I now need to lower this one as have already dropped it twice in a month, but whenever I click on the Motowerk links, I get a blank page that says "Your country is limited" (I'm still in Dubai). I need to get the lowering kit etc but don't know how to get in touch with Speedy.

Does anyone have any direct contact details?

Cheers,

Melfi

Hey Clunkyboy  :002:

After a few rubbish years, things are finally getting back to normal so I’m still hoping to meet you guys again in one of the meets. Towerman is trying hard enough!  :031: And now this year I’m in the middle of selling and buying a place back some so until I get all that sorted out, I doubt I can make it again…   :006: But hey, at least I’m riding again!  :scooter:

Towerman - The lady at Motowerk does not want to sell to me.  :124:  :125:  Any direct contact with actual Speedy? I really cannot be bothered with someone who does not want to deal with me… :211: :157:

I don't think it a case of not wanting to but a left over edict from TRUMP not to sell to certain countries -  :138:
The only thing I can suggest is you get it shipped somewhere else (ie to family / friend in another allowed country and then they can ship it on to you  :031:

Another alternative is to see if the Lust Racing lowering kit is able to be sent to you directly as they do ship to the rest of the world via PayPal  :027:

Towerman  :5: - it’s the UAE not Iran! No US president, no matter how little brain he might have, has ever said anything about not selling to the UAE…

And of course I could have then asked her to ship to my sister in the England… or potentially to my mum in Barcelona. But when you really want to sell, you suggest such alternatives. She could also have sent me a list of countries they do sell to.
I also asked about what was the full list of items that would fit my bike and she couldn’t be bothered to even reply to that. So if I cannot speak to anyone else at Motowerk, I’ll have to find another supplier which I will recommend to the big potential female market they seem to be ignoring, the one who has a higher proportion of people who need their bike lowered…

Speedy is no longer in this group? I doubt Speedy is called Kate.

It does seem that Motowerk are only shipping to a few countries now  :5:

So I would go for the Lust Racing product - I have heard no bad reports about it  :028:
