Morning team.

Can anyone add any insight into my most recent line of perusing?

For those that don't know, Kawasaki decided that the MK3 should have a one piece exhaust system. it's just not fair really. lol

So I've been looking at replacements and have found a few that tickle the old tickly bits. However, some manufacturers claim that no remapping is required post fitment, some say nothing about this at all, some people say you should, others say you shouldn't and some have even say black is white.

What I really need to know is.............. has anyone here fitted a full system to a MK3 and either ran with the bike as standard or had to have the bike mapped?

Had a scorpion full system on mine, and a booster plug, no mapping required, ran lovely.

Installed a musarri fullsystem on my gen 3. Very loud even with the baffle in and stripped it of power. needs a power commander to compensate.

Put a full Scorpion system on my mk3 6 years ago.
Weight is 1/3rd of the original. Sound is nice with the baffel in. No loss of performance. Would recommend.
