Spot the difference
« on: Oct 14, 2021, 01:08 PM »
30 September 2011

8 October 2021

Anyone name the location?

And another from the archives, 2011, a couple of weeks later, less than 10 miles away from where the above photos were captured:

Who can name the black model?

I want to retire, no longer required,
I want to get by without the man on my back.

Not sure where it is but it certainly looked warmer in 2011.

Kirkstone pass.     :2:
What would you rather be, or a wasp?

The differences are, there is a black helmet on the ground by the bike, and the wall on the left has fell down. Plus the wall on the right looks like it has been hit by a car.  :015:  :008:

Snowdonia, Nant Gwynant, and Llyn Peris?
The difference appears to be that ancient stone walls dont weather as well as a Versys!
And austerity has eroded the road.

Sometimes it takes a winding road to get your head straight.

Well done the gentleman from God's own county. Correct.
I want to retire, no longer required,
I want to get by without the man on my back.

Just so there's no misunderstanding. Wales is very beautiful but it's not God's own special place  :182:

The black one is a MK1 Versys called Albert . The lake is Ullswater.  :001:

You're right,
you'll never get to heaven on a V650. :5:
