Very sad that i didn't make the NVM but enjoying the vicarious (or is that voyeuristic) thrill of the write up. Both delightfully unreliable and delusional memoirs.
All this talk of lady bikers at the cafe, i challenge you to find one woman in the pictures...... unless its code  :5:
Ride on you crazy diamonds.
As for fatherhood, its been the greatest pleasure of my life and worth parking the bike for a bit until the weeun can enjoy the ride too.
My eldest still talks to me in his twenties and my youngest has just mastered his first pedal bike. :37:

Glad you enjoyed the thrill ride that was our little holiday.
Hope to see you at the Hawes AND N.Ireland NVM next year to make up for not getting to this years one  :152:

I don’t know if I could park the bike up that long to be honest. I might look into a car/bike seat and a way to attach it :4:

As for the lady bikers in the photos…

I think these are women…:

That picture is very grainy.
You sure it's not printed on sandpaper

Mmmm, not sure about that, but those Ladies/Woman look a bit rough to me.
What would you rather be, or a wasp?

Thanks everyone, glad you liked the write up and learning what it means to be a long suffering friend of Jay's  :008:

There's more truth in my writing than his, so you can believe me there were women ... I had the same thought when uploading the pictures, can't believe I didn't take any better ones, with proof! But at that time most of them were still arriving and the parking area was actually quite empty when I took them, it was impossible to leave at one point because I was blocked in...by two ladies bikes  :016: that's just because how busy it got, nothing to do with women parking ability
It was a great trip and I will definitely go back to Wales soon, can't believe how accessible Wales is from London, great roads are available for a weekend ride!

+1, Thanks to Jay and Shandy for giving us all such a brilliant record of a memorable weekend.

Lovely, weird, awful people that they are.
