« on: Jan 23, 2022, 08:10 AM »
Bar end weights were looking a bit scuffed and tatty so off thy came
Stuck a bolt through and mounted in the pillar drill
A bit of a going over with the file and some sandpaper
A bit of satin black and some clear coat later and back on the bike

Nice  :028:

Pity about the perished rubber washer   :notsure:

I'd have a go at mine but it'd show up the rest of the bike...
I was just contemplating the other day taking off the bottom cover brackets that are flaking paint. Changed my mind and just soaked them in ACF50.

I want to retire, no longer required,
I want to get by without the man on my back.

Had the bottom bracket / peg holder / gear selector off yesterday to give it some grease as it was a bit hard to get in to gear
there appears to be a good bit of wear  on it
I painted the gear selector black and was going to do the bracket which is silver but judging by the shiny patch from the boot rubbing I didn't think it would last too long so just gave it a clean in some paraffin and put it back on
