    Can you get a better piccy as you cant really see if the wiring is exposed?

    May also have something to do with your current trouble code if there is water ingress

    This is different to my MkI so I don't not have definitive answer. However, if the answer is no, I think I would cobble something together . It looks like it needs weather protection.
