Think I have killed it help
« on: Jun 07, 2022, 07:33 PM »
Evening folks
So the bike died on me last week , run out of electric , checked battery all good but when she was running it wasn't recharging the battery , checked the output from the stator again all good,  checked the rectifier and one of the pins had rusted there's the fault.
Replaced rectifier BUT when I was connecting the battery back up the earth wire for my heated grips somehow made contact with the positive terminal  and the clocks came on.
Anyway carried on , but now I turn the ignition on and there is nothing at all checked the fuses around the battery box they are all OK.
I am now stuck please help anyone got a wiring diagram ??

If i remember correctly there is a 50A fuse on the left hand side behind a cover.

You have probably blown that when you shorted the wires.

the main fuse is located on left side of bike (facing forward) just below the  front of seat, tucked into the frame ,there is a black plastic cover over it
