    Multifunction Trips

Can anyone enlighten me ? When I scroll through the trips all seem to be working fine except the "range" which always shows ----. The manual says it resets after a refuel but that hasn't happened, I took out a second mortgage and filled it to the brim but the "range" still reads ----. Anyone have any idea why this may be ?

I have a range gigit on the V1K. It shows - - - if the tank is brimmed but after the level drops a bit it sorts itself out, and sometimes it just takes time out. Others on the site report similar things.
I find the trip metre a more useful guide to range. I check it when the gauge shows a half tank and reckon I've got that much again to empty.

OK Rob thanks, I did reset trip B so I have a guide, Just my OCD dictates if it's there it needs to work as it's supposed to.

Use the trip meter the range to empty is useless. It also chucks a spaz attack when the range goes under a certain level.

     :89:

Usually started looking for fuel at around 180 miles on the trip counter.

the Versys fuel gauge is very over cautious and you still got loads of miles after so called empty!
