    Warning on lowering front forks

Just as a heads up. I purchased a Lust lowering kit and made the fatal mistake of thinking old school when the fork legs both have springs and the Lust instructions are the same. I WAS going to use a jack when lowering the front forks but, No, I will follow the instructions. Moved one leg up. Then started on the other and BANG! The bike dropped. Not just dropped but also on my thumb which was now trapped. It was a close call between the Fire services or in major pain lifting the front end and releasing my thumb.
Take care and USE A BOTTLE JACK.

I would not even consider doing the job without supporting the front of the bike, hope you heal up OK.
