Additional rear lighting on Kawasaki QD 28L paniers

Previously on my Superior 2009 V650 V35 paniers I fitted LED lights under the covers

See this post HERE for details  :028:
Which are still going strong  :031:

HOWEVER on my 2015 V1k the new style Kawasaki 28l paniers do not come with light cut outs  :023:

and I had never found a slim low profile LED tail light that would fit nicely to the paniers
That was until last week I came across some products from LED Autolamps - HERE  :031:
They are their Low-Profile Stop / Tail Lamp - Clear Lens from the 11 Series of lights

And they fit and look like this on the paniers  :028:

I will work on a How-To install post if anyone wants me to write it up  :031:

Are they simply side lights or brake lights as well?

I installed indicators and brake lights in the panniers of my GTR which was easy enough.

    Thanks

    Which will melt down first?
    Geoff or the stator?

My money is on the stator.
The good news is the reg rec will last forever because it doesn't have to dump any load.

    FYI tractor boy 🥰

The Mk2 V1k has a series type reg/rec and an updated stator output, unlike all the V650's which have a shunt type 👍

Also the max new load is less than 5w 😎
