Some people call this the best road in WA you can't ride. The reason you can't ride it is that it's a private road, and is only available for rent to organized events. Well, the solution then is, of course, organize an event, right?

My
WetLeather friends have an annual event called the Gather (actually, the name is much longer than that, but we call it The Gather). This year it was held at Maryhill State Park, right by the Maryhill Loops Rd.. Rolf, being the great organizer that he is, secured the use of the road for about 4 hours on Friday and Saturday for those who wanted have a go at it.
Maryhill Loops Rd. map:

The road is about 3.5 miles long and has 25 curves in those 3.5 miles, 8 of which are hairpins. Tight hairpins. It climbs 850 ft in those 3.5 miles. The whole road is fairly tight, it's not a HP road, more like a handling track, and the Versys shines on this ribbon of asphalt.
Here is my pic from the top:

Some of the guys spent a lot of time taking pictures of the action, after they all get to their respective computers, I will be able to add some action shots from Saturday.
