    Thomas, your insurance procedure in Germany looks different to the way it works here. In the UK, the insurance company pay the owner of the bike after a total loss, then they sell the salvage.

    Good to hear that you didn't break any bones in your collision with the earths crust. I hope that you make a swift recovery from your bumps and bruises.

    On another subject. I have been looking at your location on your profile page. You appear to live in rather a large shed. Is this the same shed that your grandad used to store his plane   :question:  :008:     Just a thought.  :whistle:

    Just read this thread from start to finish...

     Firstly I must say I hope you're well or at least getting there now 'Everyday'.

    Having just come from a recent accident myself, I feel your pain and know just how frustrating recovery can be! I just hope you mend well and back on a Versys again soon.

    And rest assured, despite a seemingly less complicated system, our insurance companies can make it as equally infuriating and slow!

    I must say there's some beautiful pictures here and I'm gutted to have only got my V just after NVM 2019  :138:

    I'm very much looking forward to NVM 2020, based on all the reports and pictures, seems like a great weekend!

    Hope to Meet some of you before then too.
