Well, it's the most wonderful time of the year.

The time when lunatics like to strip their bikes to clean and fit new parts.

I wanted to also check for any potential nasties that might crop up in the future. Bloody found one.

10 pin connector that joins onto the relay box. Appears to be the earth for the ECU main relay.
Any experts out there know how to remove the pin from the plug so Ican further asses the wire, or shine any wisdom onto how I should move forward?

That's stripped far beyond my capabilities, but fair play to you!

I'd spray a tonne of contact cleaner down there and go at it with a small wire brush or old toothbrush, but like I said you're already far beyond my basic mechanical knowledge. Good luck

If you get a terminal screwdriver you should be able to push it in the side and release the pin.

Either shine it up with some wet and dry or crimp a new one on.

First I suggest you get a set of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07JZ39JTG/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_3064SS018NHFMRG9WW11?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 they may make it a lot easier to get the corroded terminal out without destroying the plug.
Then if you need a new component for the plug you may find this link useful: https://kojaycat.co.uk but you may need the connector out first to confirm which type you need (unless someone already knows what type of connector they are?) Usually the new connector clicks in without a tool.
Oh and don't forget to fill it with some dielectric grease

Massively appreciate the comments so far guys. I'll have a wee look about. My buddy has a set of the pin extractors so I can have a proper look at the weekend.
