Welcome back. Im sure a large percentage on this site revisited biking later in life. Take things slowly, build up your confidence and thoroughly enjoy the adrenaline rush every time you get on your bike.

Oh dear,  first venture out for a reasonable distance took me to Beeston Castle.  Very pleasant and enjoyed the run.  Schoolboy error when leaving and  astride paddling back off the inclined verge found my feet in space at the centre point of travel off the incline and over she went.  Never dropped a bike in my life☹️  No severe damage, just a slight bend on the brake lever end and wounded pride☹️  Glad I fitted the engine bars though!! Back home with no issues and all straightened out now.  Lesson learned.  Donít get astride,  guide it back from the side of the bike on inclines.  Enjoying riding again immensely aside from that faux pas.😊🏍

Fit BarkBusters and never bend another lever.
